Are your pearls real?
Absolutely! All our pearls are 100% genuine, and we guarantee their authenticity. We carefully handpick every pearl to ensure its quality. We do not sell imitation, shell, or faux pearls.
Are your pearls perfectly flawless?
We try our best to handpick clean, high-quality pearls for every piece. However, as natural materials, slight imperfections may be present in some pearls used in our handmade designs, such as minor blemishes, surface marks or tiny scratches. But that is the charm of natural materials. It's not a defect, but a mark of authenticity.
If you are particular about pearl imperfections, please feel free to reach out to us. We’re happy to share you more about the pearl’s condition.
Do your pearls come with a certificate?
No, our pearls don’t come with certificates. Most of our pearls are carefully hand-selected as loose pearls from the market, then made into finished jewellery pieces here.
We focus on offering beautiful, high-quality pearls at fair prices, so we don’t include the additional cost of certification in every piece.
Of course, you’re always welcome to have the pearls examined by a gemologist of your choice if you’d like extra verification.
Since your pearls don't come with certificates, how can I know they're genuine?
You can always bring the pearl to a gemologist to have it tested if you’d like 😊
There are also some simple tests you can find online, such as checking the surface texture and luster. But honestly, home tests can’t guarantee 100% authenticity, as it takes some experience to properly observe and identify the characteristics of a real pearl.
It’s also good to see and handle more pearls. The more you come across them, the easier it becomes to recognise their natural texture, luster and characteristics.
Even a certificate doesn’t always guarantee authenticity, as unfortunately, fake certificates do exist in the market too. So if you’d like extra peace of mind, having the pearl checked by a gemologist yourself would definitely give you more confidence.
Will my jewellery look exactly like it does in the photos?
All photos are of the actual item, photographed under natural light.
If a pearl is replaced for the same design due to stock availability, we will retake the photos when there are noticeable differences in the pearl’s size, lustre or colour, as every natural pearl has its own unique characteristics.
We do our best to provide a true “what you see is what you get” experience, so the piece you receive should look very close to the photos shown. Please note that slight variations may occur depending on lighting and screen settings.
I can't find the jewellery design that I saw on your Instragam.
Our pearl jewellery is often handmade in small batches, with some listings representing unique pieces. Once sold, they may be removed from our shop. If you've seen a piece you like, reach out via email, and we'll explore custom-making it for you. 🙂
Do you have a physical store?
No. We’re a fully online-based business with no physical retail store.
By keeping our business online, we’re able to keep our overhead costs lower and pass those savings on to our customers, allowing us to offer our pearls at fair and competitive prices.
Do you offer a warranty or repair service?
Yes. We provide a 30-day warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use, such as loose settings, pearls coming off due to workmanship, or issues with the clasp or chain.
For damage caused by accidents, improper handling, or normal wear and tear, we also offer repair services at a reasonable charge, whenever repair is possible.
Each case will be assessed individually, and we’ll do our best to help restore your piece.

What’s the difference between freshwater and saltwater pearls?
Freshwater pearls – cultured in freshwater mussels
- More variety in shapes and sizes
- Usually more affordable
- Often have a thicker nacre layer
Saltwater pearls – cultured in oysters in the sea.
- Usually rounder with a more defined, mirror-like luster
- Thinner nacre
- More expensive
- Types include Akoya, Tahitian and South Sea pearls.
Both are real cultured pearls — the main difference is the type of mollusc, growing environment and characteristics.
Why are saltwater pearls more expensive?
Saltwater pearls generally take more time and resources to cultivate, and the oysters usually produce fewer pearls per harvest.
Certain saltwater pearls, such as Akoya, Tahitian and South Sea pearls, also have stricter requirements for size, shape, color and surface quality. Large, round and highly lustrous pearls can therefore be much rarer and more valuable.
In short: Rarity + Longer Cultivation + Lower Production = Higher Price.
Are cultured pearls real pearls?
Yes. Think of cultured pearls as “farm-raised pearls” — just like farmed seafood, they are cultivated in a controlled environment rather than collected from the wild. The pearl itself is still naturally formed by the mollusc, layer by layer.
In fact, most pearls available in the jewellery market today are cultured pearls.
“Wild pearls,” form completely naturally in the wild and are extremely rare. Today, they are more commonly seen in high-end auctions, antique jewellery and private collections, rather than in regular pearl jewellery stores.
In short: Cultured pearls are real pearls. It simply refers to how the pearl is grown.
Why don’t all pearls look perfectly round?
Pearls are natural creations, so slight variations in shape and surface are normal. Besides round pearls, there are baroque, oval, drop and other unique shapes — each with its own character.
What makes one pearl more expensive than another?
Pearl value is influenced by several factors, including size, luster, shape, surface quality, color and rarity. The combination of these qualities determines the overall value.
What are pearl overtones?
Overtones are subtle secondary colors that appear over a pearl’s main body color. Depending on the pearl and lighting, you may see hints of pink, green, blue, silver or purple.
Why do pearls look different under different lighting?
Pearls have a unique reflective surface that interacts with light. Their luster and overtones can appear differently under natural daylight, indoor lighting and warm lighting — which is part of their beauty.
Materials & Care
What material do you use?
Most of our jewellery is handmade using S925 Sterling Silver or gold-plated components for chains, clasps and other jewellery findings. A small selection of our designs is also available with 18K gold components.
S925 Sterling Silver is an alloy containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, typically copper. It is a popular choice for jewellery and is generally well tolerated by sensitive skin.
Like all sterling silver, it may naturally tarnish over time when exposed to air and moisture. This can be easily removed with a silver polishing cloth, restoring its shine.
How do I care and store my pearl jewellery?
Pearls are delicate, so a little extra care will help maintain their natural luster and beauty.
- Avoid direct contact with chemicals: Keep your pearl jewellery away from perfume, hairspray, skincare, makeup, shampoo and other chemicals, as these can dull the pearls and tarnish the metal components.
- Keep them away from water: Remove your pearl jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, sweat and chlorine.
- Wipe after wearing: Gently wipe your jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing to remove sweat, oils and residue.
- Store carefully: Store pearl jewellery separately from other jewellery to prevent scratches. When not in use, keep it in a dry, airtight box or ziplock bag. An anti-tarnish strip can help protect the silver components from tarnishing.
- Avoid harsh cleaners: Never use jewellery cleaners or harsh chemicals directly on pearls. For the silver components, use a soft silver polishing cloth when needed.
The golden rule: Last on, first off. Take your pearl jewellery off before showering, swimming or exercising, and avoid direct contact with perfume and other chemicals.

Your order will be processed and dispatched on the same day, or by the next working day at the latest.

Yes, we ship internationally. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist with shipping options.
Can I make changes to my order?
Unfortunately, once the checkout process is complete and your order has been confirmed, we are unable to make any amendments to your order.
If you need to add more items to your order, you can simply place a new order and state at checkout that you would like to combine shipment with your previous order, assuming the previous order has not been dispatched.
